Oh, here’s another recipe a 2 year old (or any other child) can help with. Actually, I forgot I had this recipe. I discovered it on my old blog site, while looking for my chocolate covered peanuts recipe (which I didn’t find right off, but I’ll post it later. It is SUPER easy to make!).
1 stick butter or margarine
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1½ cups quick-cooking oats
1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped peanuts
½ cup peanut butter
In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in oats, sweetened condensed milk, peanuts and peanut butter. Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper-lined baking sheets. Chill 2 hours or until set. Store loosely covered in refrigerator.
